7 Days of Fun, Wonder & Perfect Planning: Amit’s Family Trip to Singapore & Malaysia with Thrillophilia
Singapore Trip

After months of dinner-table discussions (and his daughters’ persistent “Papa, please let’s go somewhere fun!”), Amit and his wife finally decided on Singapore and Malaysia for their long-awaited family holiday. It promised the right mix of adventure for the kids, comfort for the parents, and easy planning for everyone – thanks to Apoorva from Thrillophilia, who turned their vague idea into a perfectly mapped-out journey.

“I just wanted a trip where I didn’t have to keep worrying about tickets or transfers,” Amit said. “Apoorva handled everything – she made it so effortless that I actually got to enjoy travelling again.”

With the itinerary set for 7 days and 6 nights, the family was ready for a blend of world-famous attractions, heartwarming memories, and little surprises at every stop.

Singapore: Where the Magic Began

The trip kicked off in Singapore, and right from the airport, the family was struck by how clean, green, and futuristic the city looked. The girls posed excitedly at the Merlion Statue, while Amit laughed, “Even the pavements here are neater than my desk!”

The next day was pure joy at Universal Studios Singapore. The Jurassic Park-themed area was a huge hit - the girls couldn’t stop squealing on the water ride while Amit’s wife admitted, “I screamed louder than both of them combined.” The laughter, the splashes, the endless family selfies - it was a day that truly felt like the movies.

Later, they wandered through the iconic Gardens by the Bay, where the glowing Supertree Grove left them speechless. Standing beneath the illuminated canopy, Amit quietly said, “This was worth every bit of planning.”

Before wrapping up Singapore, the family visited the Singapore Oceanarium, marvelling at sharks and manta rays gliding past the glass walls. The kids pressed their hands against the aquarium, whispering “wow” every few seconds. It was one of those simple yet magical family moments they’d remember for years.

Malaysia: Skyscrapers, Views, and Street Magic

Next, they crossed over to Kuala Lumpur, where energy and culture met modern charm. Their first stop was the KL Tower, offering panoramic views that made Amit’s daughters gasp. “Papa, the cars look like toys from up here!” one of them said, wide-eyed.

But the real showstopper came next - the magnificent Petronas Twin Towers. Seeing them up close was surreal. The kids tried to fit both towers in one photo (unsuccessfully), while Amit joked, “Maybe I need a selfie stick that’s 300 metres long.”

The family spent their evenings exploring bustling markets, tasting local dishes, and discovering Malaysian desserts the kids immediately fell in love with. There were moments of confusion over names like “nasi lemak” and “cendol,” but those small mispronunciations became part of the fun.

Little Things That Made Big Memories

For Amit, what stood out most weren’t just the grand attractions but the quiet, happy moments in between. Breakfasts filled with laughter, long bus rides playing guessing games, and family photos where someone (usually Amit) always blinked.

“Usually, I end up needing a vacation after my vacation,” Amit laughed, “but this time, everything felt so relaxed. We never had to rush, and the kids were actually enjoying every minute.”

Each day felt balanced – with enough time to explore, rest, and truly take in the experience without the usual travel chaos.

A Thank You to Thrillophilia – and Apoorva

If there’s one thing Amit can’t stop talking about, it’s how Thrillophilia made everything seamless. From carefully timed transfers to well-planned tickets and hotel stays, the entire trip ran like clockwork. Apoorva was always just a message away - checking in on their arrival, recommending family-friendly restaurants, and even rearranging a tour when the kids wanted more rest.

“It honestly felt like travelling with a friend who knows every corner of these cities,” Amit shared. “Apoorva wasn’t just handling logistics - she made sure we were comfortable, happy, and getting the best out of every day.”

When the trip ended, the family returned home with full hearts, glowing smiles, and about 1,000 photos (of which at least half were at Universal Studios).

Amit wrapped up his story with a grin – “We’ve already started talking about our next trip. But this time, I’m not doing any planning. I’m calling Apoorva and Thrillophilia right away!”
