Anita Tiwari’s Andaman Review with Thrillophilia: A Warm and Enjoyable Island Journey

Anita Tiwari’s Andaman Review with Thrillophilia: A Warm and Enjoyable Island Journey

When Anita Tiwari planned her family holiday to Andaman, she hoped for a trip that allowed them to explore comfortably while travelling with both adults and a child. From the first conversation, Aditya helped them shape the itinerary, understand the flow of inter-island travel and prepare for the journey. Once the details were finalised, the local teams stepped in. Ishak became their main contact before the trip, and when they reached Havelock, Azmi supported them on the island. With each person handling their part, the family felt guided without needing to ask too many questions.

Arriving in Port Blair and Exploring Local Highlights

The family landed in Port Blair on 7 May and met their driver at the airport. Their hotel check-in at Marina Manor was quick and easy. Later, they visited Corbyn Cove Beach, where the calm waves and open space gave them the right beginning after their flight.

In the evening, the Cellular Jail visit added depth to the trip. The light and sound show brought the island’s history to life, making it an experience that stayed with them. Anita appreciated how the day introduced both beauty and heritage without feeling packed or tiring.

The Shift to Havelock Island

The next morning, the family checked out and headed to the harbour. The ferry ride to Havelock was smooth, and once they stepped onto the island, they immediately felt a change in atmosphere. Their stay at Aquays Beach Resort turned out to be one of the positives of the trip. The rooms were clean, the environment felt safe and child-friendly, and the staff were approachable.

In the afternoon, they visited Radhanagar Beach. Known for its long white shoreline and blue-green water, the beach felt peaceful. They spent time walking, relaxing and taking photos without rushing. It became one of their favourite memories.

A Morning at Elephant Beach

The following day took them to Elephant Beach. The drive, short walk and the vibrant coastline made the outing enjoyable for everyone. The water was clear, and the reef area near Neemo Reef showed colourful marine life. They explored at their own pace and enjoyed optional water activities. By the time they left, the family felt they had experienced something unique to Havelock.

A Scenic Morning, a Ferry Ride and a Visit to Ross Island

On the fourth day, the family visited Kalapathar Beach. The stretch of black rocks, the quiet shore and the early light made it a pleasant stop. After spending time there, they moved toward the harbour for their ferry back to Port Blair. Once they reached the city, they checked in again at Marina Manor for their final nights.

Later in the afternoon, they visited Ross Island. Walking through the ruins, seeing open green areas and spotting deer freely roaming around created a very different mood compared to the beaches. The island felt like a mix of nature and history, and Anita enjoyed this contrast.

Exploring Baratang Island

One of the most awaited parts of their itinerary was Baratang. The family boarded their vehicle early in the morning and began the journey toward the island. The forest drive was interesting, and once they reached, the jeep safari to the Jalki mud volcanoes turned into a memorable experience. The terrain, the natural formations and the uniqueness of the site made the day stand out from the usual beach activities.

By evening, they returned to Port Blair, feeling satisfied with how much they had explored across different parts of Andaman.

A Simple and Easy Departure

On 12 May, the family checked out and headed to the airport. The transfer arrived on time, and the process felt straightforward, marking the end of their six-day trip.

Final Thoughts

Looking back, Anita appreciated how each stage of the journey was handled. Aditya helped them set up the trip the way they wanted. Ishak stayed in touch, answered questions and coordinated local arrangements. On Havelock, Azmi ensured that inter-island movements, pickups and plans were clear.

The drivers throughout the trip were polite, aware of the routes and easy to communicate with. Both hotels, Mansha Palace in Port Blair and Aquays in Havelock, were clean, comfortable and suitable for families.

The Tiwari family enjoyed beaches, ferry rides, scenic stops and unique experiences like Baratang and Ross Island. They returned with memories of calm beaches, friendly locals and a trip that felt right for the entire family.

Anita ended her review by recommending Thrillophilia to anyone considering the Andaman Islands, especially families who prefer clarity and convenience in their travels.
