An Adventure Filled with Family Moments, Food and Fun: Harish’s Vietnam Trip Review
It had been a while since our last family vacation and I was looking for an experience full of adventure for my son. Choosing Vietnam as the destination for our much-awaited break felt like a great decision as I had heard a lot about the country’s beauty. And what a perfect decision it was!
While we started off hoping for a memorable experience, Vietnam’s natural beauty made it into so much more. This was my first travel experience with Thrillophilia, and safe to say I was thoroughly impressed by the planning, the efforts and the arrangements!
The Beginning…
Our journey began when we landed in Hanoi, from where the Thrillophilia team managed every single detail. The hospitality of the Vietnamese is simply beyond words and we were completely in awe of their cultural traditions.
One aspect that had constantly worried me was the availability of vegetarian meals as Vietnamese cuisine is famous for its seafood and meat dishes. Once I voiced out my preferences to the team, I was so surprised by their detailed planning to meet my dietary requirements.
Being a pure vegetarian, I was a little sceptical about the food, but the team managed everything very well. The diverse (vegetarian) local cuisine blew my mind, and it was exciting to try so many dishes prepared with fresh vegetables and authentic local spices. The team went so far as to ensure customised meals were available at every stop, and I am incredibly grateful for that. Throughout my trip, I was able to enjoy local flavours without worrying about our dietary needs.
The Making of Priceless Moments and Countless Memories
One of our favourite memories of the trip was the fantastic luxury cruise on Halong Bay. The islands were so beautiful, and the water was so clear and green, and it looked magical. The rooms provided were absolutely top-notch, and the cruise room was especially amazing.
I was beyond impressed by the comfortable setup; it looked so elegant, and it made us speechless. What added to the relaxed cruise experience were the different activities we signed up for, like kayaking, swimming, and a traditional Vietnamese cooking class. We also stopped at many places, each letting us experience nature in ways we had never seen before.
The first stop on the cruise trip was at Ti Top Island, where our son had a blast playing around at the beach. We also stopped by a pearl farm village, where the farmers told us about pearl cultivation and took us kayaking. The best part of the cruise was watching the sunset on the green waters. The experience got even better when we went to the Surprise Cave and explored the mysterious interiors here.
The highlight of visiting the Ba Na Hills the next day was seeing the Golden Hand Bridge. The bridge made me feel like I was in a fantasy movie. In fact, my wife said it looked a lot like the Titan of Braavos Statue in the Game of Thrones. Our guide told us numerous stories about the bridge, which our son loved listening to.
Well, the next stop on our list was Cham Island, where we tried snorkelling. Going underwater was just so exciting, and seeing all those colourful fishes and other creatures was better than going to any aquarium.
When we went to Hoi An, it felt like we stepped back in time. The streets were lit with lanterns and the market was full of local items. We got many souvenirs for our friends and family back home. The Hoi An trip was also great for our son, who got to learn about different historical monuments from a guide.
Experiences Matter
Our five days in Vietnam were truly special as we got so much time to bond and have fun with each other. Whatever I had heard of Vietnam as a travel destination was truly not enough for us to imagine how beautiful the place is. My wife and I were so impressed by the natural beauty while our son loved learning about new places and local stories.
The best part of our vacation was how hassle-free it was as Thrillophilia’s team planned and arranged everything. We did not have to worry about anything, and of all our sightseeing tours, the activities, the on-ground staff and the stays, were definitely the best in Vietnam. Even Thrillophilia’s guides were so knowledgeable and friendly and helped us explore new places comfortably.
I am not sure about others, but I am definitely going to recommend Thrillophilia to my friends and family. I have been to eight countries before, but this vacation was more than just a simple trip. Vietnam was a beautiful escape from our busy lives where none of us had anything to worry about.
This was easily one of the most memorable trips of our lives, and we will definitely want to visit again someday. Many thanks to Thrillophilia for making this experience possible for us. This tour would not have been so perfect without the amazing all-out efforts of their team.
