The Nayak Family’s First International Adventure with Thrillophilia
The Nayak family had always spoken about doing an international holiday together, but year after year something or other kept getting in the way. Work schedules, family commitments, and the classic confusion of selecting a destination never allowed the plan to move beyond conversations. When they finally settled on Thailand for February 2025, it felt like a long-awaited promise being fulfilled. The excitement was clear in their voices when they spoke to the Thrillophilia sales team, and it grew even stronger once the itinerary started taking shape.
For Anmol, this was a chance to give her parents their long overdue break. For her mother, Miran, it was a dream to see the islands she had admired in photographs. And for her father, Ajoy, it was simply the thrill of checking off the family’s first passport stamp together. What started as a simple plan slowly turned into a journey filled with shared laughter, discovery, and moments they knew would stay with them for a long time.
Starting the Journey in Phuket
Their holiday began the moment they stepped out of Phuket International Airport and saw their private sedan waiting without delay. Ajoy was the first to whisper that this smooth start was a good sign, and he turned out to be right. The check in at Patong Bay Residence went quickly, giving them time to settle in before stepping out for the day.
Phuket welcomed them with open skies and that familiar tropical warmth that instantly puts travellers at ease. With no fixed schedule for the day, they had the freedom to explore at a relaxed pace. Patong Beach was lively, and the sound of the waves mixed with cheerful voices made the place vibrant. Miran watched a few people try parasailing and briefly considered it before deciding her holiday was better spent on the shore with fresh coconut water. Anmol teased her about this for the rest of the evening.
Later, they visited Banana Beach, where Ajoy spent more time than anyone admiring the marine life through the clear water. It was the kind of first day that strikes the perfect balance between rest and discovery.
A Day at Phi Phi Island
The day of their Phi Phi Island tour began early, yet the family was surprisingly energetic. The shared transfer to the marina was on time, and the speedboat staff managed the group with friendly ease. With the wind brushing past and the blue water stretching out endlessly, the family felt the shift from everyday life to vacation mode.
Maya Bay became their favourite stop almost instantly. The cliffs surrounding the water gave the place an impressive character, and the colours around them looked straight out of a painting. At Viking Cave, they listened with interest as the guide explained the history behind the paintings. Monkey Beach brought its own form of entertainment, especially when the macaques confidently approached the visitors like seasoned locals.
By the time the speedboat returned to Phuket, the sun had softened, and the family carried with them the quiet satisfaction of a full day done right.
Moving to Krabi

The move from Phuket to Krabi was smooth with another private sedan that arrived exactly on time. The drive gave them a chance to see the changing landscape and enjoy a pause between activities. Their stay at MW Krabi Beach Resort was comfortable, and the surrounding calm made it a pleasant change after Phuket’s lively atmosphere.
The Seven Island Tour was a highlight they had been looking forward to. The longtail boat brought a sense of authentic coastal charm, and the entire experience felt immersive from the beginning. They enjoyed the mix of stops and loved how each island had its own character. As evening approached, the sky changed colours and set the mood for the barbecue dinner. The food, the warmth of the group, and the setting created a memory they discussed fondly throughout the trip.
Arriving in Bangkok
Their shift from Krabi to Bangkok was seamless. Another private sedan was ready for them and took them to Rembrandt Sukhumvit for their two-night stay. The hotel was comfortable, the location was convenient, and they could sense the distinct energy that comes with arriving in a bustling city after days spent along the coast.
That evening, the Chao Phraya Dinner Cruise became one of the most memorable moments of the trip. The glittering skyline, gentle movement of the boat, and Indian buffet made it a relaxed night out. They spent more time looking at the city lights than eating, although Ajoy made sure to try most of the dishes before deciding his favourite one needed a second helping.
Exploring Bangkok at a Comfortable Pace

Their Bangkok sightseeing day began with a shared transfer to visit Wat Traimit and Wat Mahapruttaram. The gold statue at Wat Traimit impressed them more than they expected, and the quiet surroundings of Wat Mahapruttaram gave the place a peaceful charm. The brief stop at the Gems Gallery added a touch of sparkle to the day, especially for Miran, who enjoyed browsing more than anything else.
Later, they visited SEA LIFE Bangkok, which turned out to be surprisingly engaging for all three. Watching sharks glide above glass tunnels and spotting schools of fish moving in coordinated patterns felt almost theatrical. The exhibits were well maintained and visually striking, which made them stay longer than they had planned.
Looking Back at Their Journey

By the time they reached the airport for departure, the family realised how smoothly everything had unfolded. From the itinerary created exactly to their liking, to the punctual transfers, to the constant support that they never actually needed to use, the experience felt easy and well managed. It was their first international family vacation, and Thrillophilia set the right tone for all trips they would plan in the years ahead.
For the Nayaks, this was not simply a seven day holiday. It was a celebration of being together, of discovering new places with familiar faces, and of creating stories that would be recounted many times during family gatherings. With Thailand now added to their shared list of memories, they returned home already thinking about where the next trip with Thrillophilia would take them.
