New Zealand Trip Review: Rhea and Manya’s Experience with Thrillophilia
Two sisters, Rhea and Manya, had been dreaming of visiting New Zealand for a long time. They wanted a trip that felt exciting but also manageable, yet the initial planning brought more stress than joy. They tried arranging everything on their own, from hotels to activities and transport. The process took hours, the prices kept rising and at one point they almost gave up, thinking it might not be the right time for such a holiday.
But Manya, the elder sister, was determined to make the trip happen. She began searching for New Zealand tour packages online and went through multiple options. Among all the sites she checked, one set of packages stood out to her.
Thrillophilia’s New Zealand itineraries offered exactly what they needed. Every important detail was covered, from accommodations to transfers and key activities. The pricing fit their budget as well, which immediately caught their attention. Within a day they booked the package, completed all the formalities and the long-awaited trip finally felt real.
Auckland and the First Impressions
Their journey began in Auckland, a city that welcomed them with open skies and a lively atmosphere. A driver picked them up directly from the airport and took them to their pre-booked hotel, a warm and comfortable property that made them feel at ease instantly.

Since the first day was free, they set out to explore the neighbourhood on foot. They tried New Zealand’s famous Hokey Pokey ice cream, chatted with a few friendly locals and even stopped to enjoy a talented street performer singing in the evening light. It was a slow and peaceful start, but exactly what they needed after a long flight.
Rotorua, Hobbiton and the Magic of Nature
Day 2 took Rhea and Manya to Rotorua for the complimentary Hobbiton movie set tour. The moment they stepped into the green hills and tiny hobbit homes, it felt like entering a different world. They saw the iconic Hobbit holes, visited the Green Dragon Inn and stood in front of Bilbo Baggins’ little house. The sheep farm nearby added another charming touch to the experience.

The third day was dedicated entirely to discovering Rotorua. Their visit to the Waimangu Geothermal Valley left a strong impression on both sisters. Watching the bubbling mud pools and rising steam vents reminded them of nature’s immense power. They then walked through the 120-year-old Redwood Treewalk, visited Kuirau Park and explored Paradise Valley Springs. Every stop showed them something new and unforgettable.
Queenstown and the Heart of Adventure
The next morning they took a flight to Queenstown, where the scenery changed dramatically. After checking into their hotel, they spent the rest of the day exploring on their own. They admired The Remarkables mountain range and visited the Shotover River.
Day 5 was filled with lakes and landscapes. They visited Lake Wanaka and Lake Hayes, both incredibly picturesque and peaceful. In the afternoon they joined the Walter Peak High Country Tour, which gave them a lovely experience of New Zealand farmland and lakeside beauty.

The following day brought one of the biggest highlights of the entire holiday. They travelled to Fiordland National Park and boarded the famous Milford Sound Cruise. Passing by iconic attractions like Stirling Falls and Mitre Peak felt surreal. The calm water, towering cliffs and misty landscapes created a memory they knew they would never forget.
A Smooth and Memorable Journey
On the final day, while heading to the airport, Rhea and Manya talked about the entire experience. They recalled how they had almost cancelled their plan in the beginning and felt grateful that they chose to continue. Everything during the trip had gone smoothly and every place on the itinerary felt easy to enjoy because the important arrangements were already taken care of.
They both agreed that this trip could not have been better. A major part of that comfort came from the support they received from Thrillophilia’s customer assistance and destination expert team. Ravi and Aisha guided them through every stage, from clarifying bookings to planning the flow of the journey.

The hotels were arranged well, the transfers were simple to follow and the activity timings were shared in a way that avoided confusion. They said that the internal flight, day tours and entry tickets were also planned neatly, which saved them a lot of time. The trip became one of the best experiences of their lives and left them grateful, fulfilled and excited to share their journey with others.
