Hearts and Horizons: Sudeeksha’s Dreamy Honeymoon in the Andamans
Though the journey ended, Sudeeksha felt her heart still remained in the Andamans. Her trip to the islands had been a beautiful journey she shared with her husband. From adrenaline highs to tranquil pauses, the two of them experienced the perfect balance throughout their honeymoon. She felt that it was the best vacation of her life, one she knew she would always keep close to her heart.
Even after returning to the city, whenever she closed her eyes, she could picture herself wandering near the shore, drinking coconut water under a palm tree, exploring the underwater world or trying a new local dish. The imprint of the trip felt so strong that she often joked she might never truly come back from it.

The Adventure Begins…
Their trip began slow and steady in the beautiful city of Port Blair. As soon as they landed, Sudeeksha was impressed by its beauty and sensed that the vacation would be extraordinary.
Their exploration started with Corbyn’s Cove Beach, one of the most charming gems of Andaman. After the long hours of travelling, both of them wanted a serene afternoon, and that is exactly what they found. They lay under a palm tree, clicked photos and walked barefoot along the shore. It was a simple and romantic start.
Later, they discovered an old lady running a hut-like restaurant, serving fresh seafood. The aroma itself convinced them to try it, and the taste turned out to be incredible. The price was equally satisfying.
In the evening, they visited the famous Cellular Jail. Walking through its corridors reminded them of India’s long struggle for independence. The Light and Sound Show left an even deeper impact. The way the story of freedom was presented brought many visitors to tears, including Sudeeksha.
Off to Havelock- Island of Dreams!
Although Port Blair amazed them, nothing prepared the couple for the magic of Havelock Island. The beauty felt straight out of a fairytale, the kind she once imagined as a little girl. She could not help but smile, grateful to have her husband, whom she lovingly called her Prince Charming, bring her to this dreamlike place.
Their resort was set amid lush greenery and scenic beaches. Their room faced the vast blue sea. Staying even a single day in that room felt like an experience on its own.
After lunch, they left for Radhanagar Beach, one of the most famous beaches in Asia. The moment she stepped onto its soft golden sand, she felt swept away by its charm. The scenery felt surreal, almost too beautiful to be real.
The highlight of the day arrived with the sunset. The lively ambiance of the beach slowly faded into stillness as the sky changed colours. The chatter around them softened, and everyone stood in silent admiration. Sudeeksha felt that nature had paused time for a moment.
Snorkelling at Elephant Beach
If the first two days were about calmness, the third day brought thrill. After a hearty breakfast, they took a boat to Elephant Island for their first snorkelling adventure.
Sudeeksha felt both nervous and excited. She gathered her courage, put on her gear, held her husband’s hand and jumped into the water. When she opened her eyes underwater, an enchanting world unfolded around her.
She could not contain her joy and used every expression and hand gesture to share it with her husband. She swam among fish and even tried touching a few, but they darted away quickly. As they moved further, beautiful coral reefs appeared before them.
The experience felt as if she had stepped into her own version of Finding Nemo. After the adventure, they spent the afternoon lounging by the beach, sipping coconut water and enjoying the quiet surroundings.
Exploring Kalapathar Beach
On the fourth day, they visited Kalapathar Beach, a quieter alternative to Radhanagar. It gave them space to enjoy solitude before leaving the islands.
The beach welcomed them with stunning views of black rocks along the shoreline, contrasting with white sand and bright blue water. The setting felt peaceful and scenic, perfect for absorbing the last bits of Andaman’s beauty.
They walked barefoot on the sand and dipped their feet in the cool water. Under a tree, they found a perfect spot for a small picnic. The only sounds were gentle waves, chirping birds and her husband happily munching his food, which made her laugh.
As the sun began to set, the sky turned shades of pink and orange. The beach glowed with the warm reflections. Watching the view, she sighed and said, “What a lovely way to end our honeymoon.”
Adios Andaman!
On the final day of their Andaman tour package itinerary, they packed with heavy hearts, not ready to leave the paradise they had called home for the past few days. Before heading back, they stopped at a small beachside cafe for their last lunch.
While sipping coffee and looking at the ocean, the couple talked about their favourite moments. They realised how deeply they were going to miss this trip.
For them, Andaman had been more than a vacation. It gifted them joy, adventure and quiet moments they would treasure forever. The people they met, the places they explored and the memories they created would remain with them for a lifetime.
