Hearts and Horizons: Sudeeksha’s Dreamy Honeymoon in the Andamans
Though the journey ended, a part of Sudeeksha still felt like it remained in the Andamans. The trip had been a beautiful experience she shared with her husband, filled with moments of excitement and moments of calm. For her, it was the best vacation she had taken, and she knew she would always hold it close.
Even after returning to the city, she often found herself drifting back to the islands in her mind. She could imagine walking near the water, drinking coconut water under a palm tree, watching the marine world, or trying local food. The memories stayed so clear that she felt the trip had left a deep imprint on her.
She felt grateful to her husband because it had been his idea to choose the Andamans for their honeymoon. The rest of the planning was managed by Thrillophilia, and everything went smoothly from start to finish.
The Adventure Begins…
Their trip began quietly in Port Blair. When they landed, the first thing that impressed Sudeeksha was how clean and welcoming the town felt. She immediately sensed that the vacation would be memorable.

Their first stop was Corbyn’s Cove Beach. After the long travel, they wanted a peaceful break, and the beach offered exactly that. They lay under a palm tree, took photos, and walked barefoot near the shore. The simplicity of the moment made it feel romantic and comforting.
They came across a small hut-like restaurant run by an elderly woman who was serving fresh seafood. The smell of the food was inviting, so they decided to try it. The taste was excellent and the price was modest, which added to their satisfaction.

In the evening, they visited the Cellular Jail. Walking through the corridors gave them a glimpse of the sacrifices and struggles linked to India’s independence. The Light and Sound Show later in the evening presented the story in a clear and emotional way. Many visitors were moved to tears, and Sudeeksha also felt emotional while watching it.
Off to Havelock- Island of Dreams!
Port Blair had been impressive, but Havelock Island took their breath away. When Sudeeksha reached the island, she felt like she had stepped into a scene she would have imagined as a child. She felt fortunate to be experiencing it with her husband.

Their resort was surrounded by greenery and located near the beach. Their room faced the sea directly, and she felt that even staying inside that room for a day would have been special. The sound of the waves and the view from the window made the place feel peaceful.
After lunch, they set out for Radhanagar Beach, known for being one of the finest beaches in Asia. When she stepped onto the soft sand, she was surprised by how natural and striking the place looked. The wide open beach, clear water, and gentle breeze created a calm setting.
The highlight of the day was the sunset. The noise and movement on the beach slowly faded and everyone stood still as the sky changed colour. The moment felt simple and special.

Snorkelling at Elephant Beach
Their third day of their Andaman tour package itinerary was reserved for adventure. After breakfast, they took a boat to Elephant Beach to try snorkelling for the first time.
Sudeeksha felt nervous but eager. She put on the gear, held her husband’s hand, and entered the water. The view underwater amazed her. The fish moved quickly and the corals looked colourful. She tried to reach out to the fish but they swam away. She used simple gestures underwater to share her excitement with her husband.

The experience felt fun and refreshing, and it reminded her of scenes from animated movies. After the activity, they spent the afternoon sitting near the beach, drinking coconut water, and talking about what they had seen.
Exploring Kalapathar Beach

On the fourth day, they visited Kalapathar Beach. It was quieter than Radhanagar and had fewer visitors. The black rocks on the shore with white sand and clear water made the place look scenic and peaceful.
They walked on the sand and placed their feet in the water. Later, they found a shady spot under a tree and enjoyed a small picnic. The only sounds were the gentle waves and birds. Her husband sat beside her enjoying his meal, which made her smile.

As the day came to an end, the sky slowly changed colour. The glow reflected across the water. Sudeeksha looked at the scene and said, “What a lovely way to end our honeymoon.”
Adios Andaman!
On the last day, they packed their bags slowly because neither of them felt ready to leave. Before heading to the airport, they stopped at a small cafe on the beach for lunch. They sipped coffee and watched the ocean for a while. They talked about their favourite moments and agreed that they would miss the islands.

For Sudeeksha, the Andamans had been more than a holiday. The trip had given her joy, adventure, rest, and a chance to bond with her husband in a simple and meaningful way. The people they met, the places they saw, and the time they spent together became memories she knew would stay with them for years.
