There is one thing a honeymoon trip cannot afford.
Things going wrong and staying wrong. A missed flight, a cancelled activity, a day lost to logistics while the couple spends their first days abroad making calls and waiting on hold. That is the version of events nobody wants to write home about.
Swikriti and Rakesh Mishra missed their connecting flight to Bali. A full day had gone by before the trip had even started. When they finally landed, the original plan was already short by one day.
Then Aman and the Thrillophilia team got involved.
"It is such a nice thing that Thrillophilia absolutely managed every activity and rescheduled all the activities, so because of that we didn't miss any experience."
Everything rescheduled. Nothing dropped. The couple landed late and still came home having done every single thing they had booked.
On a honeymoon, that is the only thing that matters.
Kuta Was Home for the First Four Nights
Mega Boutique Hotel and Spa in Kuta. Deluxe suite. Breakfast from day two. The hotel sits in the right part of Bali for the southern circuit, close enough to both the beach and the Uluwatu clifftop road that no day starts with a long drive.
The water sports day came first. Parasailing, banana boat and jet ski at Tanjung Benoa Beach, with the afternoon given over to Uluwatu. The temple sits right on the cliff above the Indian Ocean. The Kecak fire dance runs at sunset on an open-air stone stage with the sea visible behind it, and the drums, firelight and the cliff edge all at once are not something either of them will forget quickly.
Ten hours. A long day. They slept well.
Nusa Penida Was the One That Stayed

Day three was the island. Private car to Sanur Harbour, speedboat to Toyapakeh, and private vehicle for the west tour.
Kelingking Beach is the one that shows up on everyone's phone before they visit Bali. The cliff is shaped like a dinosaur head, the water is turquoise far below, and the steep trail down is what most visitors look at and quietly decide against. Angel's Billabong after that, then Broken Bay, then Bubu Beach, where the complimentary snorkelling gear gets handed out, and a local lunch appears from somewhere.
Ten and a half hours from door to door. The day that tends to hold the clearest memory six months later.
The Highland Day looked different.
Day four went north. The Kintamani Highlands tour starts with the coffee plantation, where the tasting runs longer than the visit was supposed to, and most people end up buying something on the way out. Then Tegenungan Waterfall. Then the Tegalalang rice terraces.
Then the Bali Jungle Swing.
The swing hangs above the valley and gives an aerial view of the terraces that no hiking path gets close to. Swikriti is a content creator by profession. She almost certainly made good use of it. Local lunch came with the day. They were back in Kuta before dark.
Ubud, was the trip slowing down?
Day five was the shift from Kuta to Ubud, with the ATV adventure on the way. Ninety minutes on a double-sharing quad bike through the Ubud countryside, past rice fields and village lanes, with occasional mud that made it feel less like a planned excursion and more like something that just happened.
Yoga Ubud Villa for two nights. One-bedroom pool villa. The kind of room a honeymoon itinerary builds towards.
Day six was the leisure day. No transfers, no schedule, no activity list. Pool in the morning. Breakfast at whatever time they wanted. After five days of water sports, an island tour, a highland drive and an ATV track, the body had earned the rest.
What did Thrillophilia do to make the trip work?
Swikriti said it plainly in her review. They had lost a full day on the ground before the trip began. On most package trips, that means losing whatever was planned for day one and moving on.
Thrillophilia moved everything instead. Every activity from the original plan was rebuilt into the remaining days. Nothing was dropped. The couple came home having ticked off the entire itinerary.
"All the itineraries were very well planned, so it was a very smooth experience. Definitely, if I get a chance again, I will go with Thrillophilia again."
Day seven was the airport transfer out of Ubud. The trip ended quietly, on a pool villa morning, the way a honeymoon should end.
A missed connecting flight is the kind of thing that sets a wrong tone from the start. This one did not.
That is the kind of Bali trip review that does not need any dressing up.
